Buried Pipelines as a lifeline play important role in the transmission of the required fluid such as water, gas, oil, etc. In this paper the seismic behavior of pipeline, by introducing relationships and factors affecting on the seismic behaviors are investigated. Changes of major parameter like, depth of laying and soil type are studied and discussed to achieve a better comprehension of the seismic behavior of pipelines under seismic loads.
