Abstract:
Using decorates in Iran house, in addition to the decorative and beauty aspects have been used in terms of protecting, insulating, and cooling issues. In this research decorating of the traditional home has been investigated usingdescriptive method. Splendor and beauty of Iranian architecture especially in the Islamic period depend on decorationand arrangement. Using a variety of decorative brickwork, stucco, tiling, carvings, mirror works and paintings wascommon in all Islamic eras and improved in each era along with the development of fac ilities. Various experts in thisfield have given specific significance to Iranian architecture by using a variety of designs on different building materials. Among the various architectural, the Iranian houses which were the place for the expression of pe ople art,have most beautiful shapes and designs. the environmental diversity along with climatic and geographical conditions ofIran altogether lead to the formation of different concepts and ideas pursuant to environmental condition and the use of building. The results represented that decorating status in Iranian architecture comes from a combining of culture, religion, and Iranian art which has changed over time
