Abstract:

This article describes how the kinetics of crystallization of nanograins in an amorphous (Fe0.5Co05)77Si11B9Cuo.6.Nb24 (at. %) alloy was investigated using model-free methods under nonisothermal condition. Differential scanning calorimetry was used to obtain the transformed fraction as a function of temperature. X-ray diffractometry was used for structural analyses of crystallization products. Experimental data have been analyzed with model-free kinetic methods and the apparent activation energy was determined as a function of conversion fraction. The mean value of activation energy was obtained as 200 kJ mol .
