TWO STEP SINTERNG: IMPRESSION OR SOLUTION

The TSS method has more benefits in the case of pure materials but the effect of that method on the composite materials rarely investigated. In this study, mullite- silicon carbide nanocomposite was fabricated via two step sintering and the effect of this method and convectional sintering method on microstructure and mechanical properties was compared. Finally, we found that TSS method has no significant influence on properties in case of composites.
