Energy recourses in Iran consist of the fourth largest oilreserves and the second largest natural gas reserves inthe world. At present, due to political reasons, theinvestment trend does not go over well. Based on theFifth Development Strategy, Iran needs $200 billion ofinvestment in the country’s first industry (i.e. oil), andgiven the objectives of the perspective document, thecountry needs more than $500 billion investment duringthe next 10-year period. This study considered Iranenergy status including fossil fuels and renewable andsustainable energy. Afterwards, oil future plans, havebeen analyzed. Then, some technical techniques forincreasing the oil production are considered. Finally acomprehensive analysis for achieving the secure andsustainable future on the geopolitical, Geo-economicand Geo- cultural situation is represented.
