Abstract:

Music in general can have different effect on the performance of the students and learners in educational process. Not to mention that ritual music intrinsically interacts with the performance of the learners as it is somehow related to social affairs. Toward this end, verification of optimized and crea-tive parameters in improvement of educational scores is so critical and decisive especially in develop-ing countries. Considering this point of view has remarkable challenges. Managers and policy makers should be sure about the effects of implementing them in educational systems. Therefore, this study is conducted to evaluate the impact of ritual music on educational improvement of Iranian teenage learn-ers. Participants are 125 learners who were taking part regularly in classes provided by a private insti-tute. This study was conducted based on pre-test and post-test design. After ten sessions of the treat-ment, as the last procedure of the study, participants took their post-tests. The results indicated that there is a significant difference between two methods which were used for their educational scores con-sidering t-statistics and p-value (a0.05). It can be concluded that the ritual music can have a significant effect on learners posttest scores if the effect of pretest is controlled.
