The aim of this study was The Stability Analysis of Earthen dam upstream slope by finite element method to deal with sudden changes in water level of the reservoir, case study ILAM dam in ILAM province, Iran. This study is applied and according to the type of data analysis, field methods were used to gather information. This research In terms of target was Practical research and Field method was used to collect data. In this study, with use of numerical modeling and Finite Element Analysis and GEOSLOPE software has been tried to be addressed Stability analysis of earth dams. The results showed that in 47.7 liters per second Discharge flow, body piezometric pressure, floor piezometric pressure and piezometric pressure within the upstream slope of ILAM dam, the Efficiency and stability of upstream slope in relation body, floor and inner piezometric pressure was of less and shown better. Most imported pressures were on the top left and bottom left division. In 69.175 liters per second Discharge flow, we have shown that, the body, floor and inner piezometric pressure piezometric pressure of ILAM dam upstream slope was in normal situation and was less. In 100.55 liters per second Discharge flow, we show that in the upstream slope, the greatest entry Pressure wereon the top left and right bottom. The results of numerical analysis showed that at the time of 0.2 seconds, and in five ramps 1, 5, 10, 20 and 40 degrees, the speed (volatility) in the axial direction, speed turbulent kinetic energy (volatility), with increases in radial and axial shaft ramps have increased. In other words, the upstream slopes able to better control the sudden changes in ramps 40 and took 0.2 seconds. At the time of 0.8 seconds, with increase of the ramps we showed reduced in first and then increased. In other words, able to better control the sudden changes in ramps 40 and took 0.8 seconds. At the time of 1 second, with increase of ramps in first reduced and then increased. At the time of 1 second, with increase of ramps in first reduced and then increased. In other words, the upstream slope able to better controls the sudden changes in the ramps 20 and took 1 second.
