Strength of Materials Science Engineering is one of the oldest sciences. One of thebranches of this science is widely used fracture mechanics. Due to the extensiveprogress and extensive knowledge of Engineering Fracture Mechanics of particularinterest to researchers in the world. In this article we examine the tension in the steelplates. For this purpose, a steel sheet And put under the horizontal and verticaldisplacement of the tension steel sheets described above. In addition, by increasing theamount of displacement in horizontal and vertical direction to pay the amount of stresson the steel plate. The results showed an increase in tensions with the increased load, sothat no matter how The displacement increase to the same amount of stress increases.The results show that stress in the horizontal direction is greater than the stress in thehorizontal direction. In this study, the dimensions of the steel sheet is fixed.
