Abstract:

The study of evacuation in a building has always been a challenge. In this paper we try to simulate the evacuation process of a crowd in a square room that is full of people. To do this, a cellular automaton model and fuzzy inference system was used. The use of fuzzy inference system is to obtain more realistic modeling and to have better conclusions. In this paper the static floor field (FF) of our model is the Euclidean distance from exit and we have two other dynamic FF parameters, the direction through exit and to follow or not to follow other agents. We assume that every agent behaves in a rational way and there is no stress. At the end, the results of our simulation were compared with the real results from another paper. Our result is approximately 97 percent close to reality.
