This paper presents a compact quad-band bandpass filter (BPF) for GPS/DCS/WLAN/WiMAX application. It utilize only one stepped-impedance ring resonator (SIRR) and two identified coupled-line sections. The centerfrequencies are carefully controlled and adjusted by tuning electric length and impedance of the SIRR to satisfy the demands of proposed quad-band BPF.The design procedures are discussed in detail and the simulated results are presented
