خلاصه مقاله:
In compressor blades which are prone to abrasion caused by particles in the air, wear-resistant coating deposited on the blades to protect their surface against damage. Multilayer coatings Ti/TiN/TiAlN and Cr/(Ti,Cr)N was deposited on GTD 450 (blade material) by PVD method. SEM and WDX analysis from surfaces and cross-sectioned coated samples were performed. Then mechanical properties of coating like hardness and Yong modulus evaluated by nanoindentation testing. SEM results showed that Cr/(Ti,Cr)N has good adhesion to substrate compared to Ti/TiN/TiAlN which has a locally delamination areas. Nanoindentation results showed that Hardness and Yong modulus of both coatings are in the same rang. Adhesion state of coating probably is due to residual stress generating during deposition process
