خلاصه مقاله:
The effect of processing parameters such as cutting depth,spindle speed, nose radius and feed rate on the dimensionalaccuracy of hardened VCN150 (AISI4340) steel has beenstudied during the dry hard turning operation using CBNinserts. The experimental results revealed that spindle speedand nose radius respectively, have the greatest effect on thedimensional accuracy, while feed rate and cutting depthhave no remarkable effect. It was also observed that at 0.25mm cutting depth, 0.4 mm nose radius, 0.08 mm/rev feedrate, and 500 rpm spindle speed, the best dimensionalaccuracy is achieved in the dry hard turning operation.
