Abstract:
In this paper, general spatial motion of a composite plate isstudied. Dynamic equations of this motion which consist ofthree rigid translation equations, three rigid rotationequations, and one flexible vibration equation is obtainedvia Hamiltonian dynamics. A control pattern is designed tomake a selected point to track a predefined trajectory whiledamping the undesired motion. The two-time scaleapproach is applied in order to develop composite controllerwhich has two separated parts for controlling the rigidmotion (slow subsystem) and suppress transverse vibration(fast subsystem). Boundary control approach is also used toeliminate the need for sensor measuring data from internalpoints of plate.
