Abstract:
Taking a look at contemporary architecture in our country shows that, we have been doubly wrong because following the architectural culture of the West, because not only in view of the architecture, we ave committed the error of westerners, but we also have implemented their absurd architecture with lower quality. Iranian architect is one of the most successful examples of architecture combined with nature and is carefully mixed with nature asif is a part of its context and part of the natural environment. So there is no doubt that every building should be able to communicate the natural environment inwhich it is built. For example, the effect ofgeometry of the plan, the architecture volume, windows, ventilation and insulation on energy consumption of air conditioning and heating and lighting, how buildingorientation, how placement of spaces, improving the methods of insulation with minimal cost, can improve the efficiency of the settlements. It can be concluded that, by developing criteria for the different ecological zones of architecture, as well asthe application of these criteria in their design, we can achieve major reductions in building energy consumption and energy efficiency.
