Abstract:

In this work, a novel magnetic palladium catalyst was prepared and characterized. Structural and textural features of the samples were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and SEM, ICP-OES and IR techniques. Then we evaluated the photocatalytic activities of catalyst on the degradation of Rhodamine B under visible light irradiation. High yield, low reaction time and non-toxicity of the catalyst are the main merits of this protocol. The supported catalysts have the advantage of being completely recoverable with the simple application of an external magnetic field.
