Introduction: An appropriate teaching method is the most important bases of quality. Several psychologists believe that learning opportunities should be organized so that each student can engage in activities based on their ability. Establishing an e-learningenvironment (Analysis) (ADDIE) is a proof of this claim. This study is aimed at investigating the effect of educational design model on evaluation, implementation, development, and design with thefocus of e-Learning on the achievement motivation of students at the third grade of high school. Methods: This study employed quasi-experimental methods. 2477students from third grade in high school of education office in Sari, region 1 in the 2012-2013 academic year. Using multi stage cluster sampling method, two classes with sample size of 49 studentswere selected and were randomly divided into experimental group (26 persons) and control group (23 persons). For data collection, Hermans achievement motivation test (1970) and researcher madequestionnaire in English course were utilized. The validity of the questionnaire was verified by experts and the reliability was found as 0.86 by using Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis was carried out by descriptiveand Analysis of covariance statistics (ANCOVA). Results: Results showed that the use of educational design model (P<α=0.01), with the focus of e-Learning enhances the achievement motivation of students at the third grade of high school in Englishcourse. Conclusion: Because of the influence of educational design model to increase student motivation, it seems that using this teaching method is useful in education.
