Characterisation of Materials Sampled From Some My S'on Temples

An extensive experimental research was carried out by the authors on site and in labo-ratory in order to characterize the materials used in the construction of Hindu temples in the archaeological area of My S’on in the central part of Vietnam. The research was aimed at the design for restoration of a group of temples respectful of the principles of conservation. Particularly different was the investigation on the material used in the past, for joints in the brick masonry and the research of new materials compatible with the existing ones.
