Abstract:

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are compounds consisting of metal ions or clusters and organic molecules called linkers. Metal organic frameworks also known as porous coordination polymers (PCPs) have attracted wide attention. Due to PXRD patterns adsorb and desorb of crystal violet (CV) into UiO-66 doesn’t have any effect on structure. UiO-66 was stable during the absorption and desorption process and can be considered as a reversible adsorbents. It can be seen this MOF used for that work have the comparable capacity between other MOFs, that have been proved by TGA, UV-vis analysis and weighing. The maximum adsorption capacity was 37.77 mg g-1 per 0.1 g of UiO-66. Consideringreleasing process for UiO-66, it has been ascertained that UiO-66 has good releasing rate, it may be depend on the size of the guest molecule and absorbent pore size
