An Analysis of Crime Prevention Management in Iranian Criminal Justice System and Teachings of Islam

Crime prevention involves the collection of approaches which is established to create preventive equipment and conditions for the crime. In the current study, it has been tried to investigate the weaknesses and ambiguities of the crime prevention domain. Dispersion and multiplicity of the institutes responsible in crime prevention in Iran, inconsistency between the related institutes and lack of a practical, coordinated and measured policy in three domains of research, development and enforcement have resulted in inefficiency of the equipment and capacities of the organizations and neutralization of the activities of the different sectors of the criminal policy pertaining to the crime prevention. Islam, in order to prevent the occurrence of crimes, suggests approaches in the case that if individuals of the society adhere them, most of the crimes would be prevented. The prerequisite of order to goodness and forbidding the evil is the most important jurisprudential foundation of the crime prevention
