Abstract:

Objective: Argulus or fish crab louse, is one of the external parasite in the fresh hydrothermal fishes. It is a small hard-shell by round and hyaline body to green pallid pigmentation and four pair swimmer pie. Twine big sucking organ have comrade by twain composite eye, one simple eye and one proboscis longish for bite. In the summer 2008, in one of Tabriz fish farms, containing 500 fishes showed symptoms such as faintness, lack of appetite, and in some cases coetaneous bleeding and fin bleeding and expanding of superficial mocuses. In this study, infection with Argulus in gold fish from fish farms is reported. Method & Materials: In accordance to clinical verifications and studies by wet mount with microscope in (x4 and x10), it has been distinguished as Argulus. Then by using of Linden drug with dosage 0.02 mg/lit/ppm treatments have been done by bath procedure in 15 minutes. Results & Conclusion: In order to eradicate this disease after treatment of mentioned fishes in khaki pool, the pool has been drained out and antisepticised for one week
