Abstract:
Appropriate use of distributed generation (DG) resources can be an effective method to unloose major problems, such as low power quality and power density systems. Determination of optimal location and size of distributed generation units with proper placement of the network, various effects such as line losses reduce, improve voltage profile, reduce EENS, reduce costs and improve the quality of transmission and distribution power will follow. The method presented in this paper is based on NSGA II algorithm and genetic algorithm by applying the effective operators, such as pre-processing and increased turbulence speed of convergence of the algorithm. The proposed method is simulated by software MATLAB.
