Abstract:

The variety of functional activities and roles in the 21st century environment compel managers to have a rather comprehensive view of every issue. To do so, definitions of new paradigm can help to prepare justification of operations and make prediction of events which are related to critical points. This article tries to apply chaotic definitions in management of functional activities and their crisis with respect to the whole perception of chaos. Main definitions of chaos theory - "Butterfly Effect" , "Self Similarity", "Dynamic Adaptation" , and "Attractors" to be introduced and make nexus with organizational functions in order to propose solutions for better performance especially in crises. The paper proposes a way we can choose to deal with crisis in fields of organization as functional sections via chaos theory. The context prepares some assumptions for further researches and concludes that we should not expect crisp solutions on the basis of crisp logic evidences and proofs; for chaos theory in human science we had better find some approaches to follow. After some literature, we search for evidence of chaos in different fields of business administration and then present some recommendation about application of the subject.
