خلاصه مقاله:
The abaitment of NOx is a global concern as it has been related to acid rain, ozone layer depletion, breathing health disorder among population and workers. Interaction effects of synthetic zeolites on NOx conversion were investigated. Physical mixture containing 200 g of each zeolite"ZSM-5, γ-Alumina, alumina silicate" per volume of honeycomb as catalyst supports for catalytic media on monolith were prepared. The other physical mixture with 1% of nanometal salts of palladium and platinum and 3% zirconium and cerium salts were prepared in two sperate martices respectively, and then washes coated using impregnation method. NOx conversion experiment was carried out under the interactive of effects of space velocity, temperature and reducer gas (propane). The results showed that among the three Modified zeolite the"Na-ZSM-5 " with ZrO2 and CeO2 had NOx conversion optimized conditions (P =0.05). the result reveal the optimized conditions for NOx conversion to N2, O2, as:C3H8/NOx mole ratio of 1.5 and the temperature of 220 ◦C producing 96% conversion efficiency.
