Multi-Product Lot Sizing under Imperfect Production with Rework Option

This paper considers economic production quantity (EPQ) problem for a multi-product imperfect single stage production system with rework after inspection, random scrap rate, and production capacity while satisfying a set of technological constraints such as: unallowable shortages, different production rate and rework rate, and use of perfect inspection. Then the problem is formulated as an unconstrained convex nonlinear program that its optimal solution is obtained via some theorems. Finally the model is compared with previous researches and mathematical analysis shows itsSuperiority.
