Current Research Trends of Operation Research in Imperfect Production: An Overview

Traditional researches assumed no defective items are produced in manufacturing systems. But in reality manufacturing systems may deal with producing imperfect items when facilities go out of control or even when they are in normal term. Recently most of the researchers of production planning consider imperfect manufacturing systems which encounter with defective items. This paperreviews latter literature on imperfect production.
