In this research the material selection for the new facilities of Mansuri Oil field located onshore Iran, based on the estimated internal process conditions have been studied. As all process data are not exactly known, e.g. oil production and fOrmation water quantities over time, and the formation water composition and pH, the worst-case
process conditions are taken into account. This means the calculated predicted (uninht"bited) corrosion rates in this report are the maximum anticipated ones, based on the HYSIS simulation & De Waard JMilliams wet C02 corrosion prediction for continuously water wetted pipelines. This paper discusses the measures that are recommended to manage the internal pipelines integrity over time =.
