Abstract:
This paper investigated the structural, optical and electrical characteristics of MSM ultraviolet detector based on Zinc Oxide thin films by doping Aluminum which prepared by sol-gel spin coating method. The materials include Zinc acetate dehydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2.2H2O), absolute ethanol (C2H5OH) and diethanolamine (HN(CH2CH2OH)2). XRD, SEM, UV-Vis and I-V tests were used to study the characteristics of this detector in order to determine the thickness, particles sizes, morphology of surface, absorption, transmission and electrical current. The results showed that Zinc Oxide thin films were transparent in visible area, the electrical current and responsivity were 15μA and 1.53 µ A/W , respectively, for the sample by 10 percent of impurity.
