Effect of PAC size on membrane performance (Cheese whey wastewater of Kalleh Company of Iran)

Dairy wastewater is daily produced therefore is one of the main environmental pollutants. Chees whey wastewater (CWW) is a strong organic and saline effluent that is produced during cheese making process. This work render a new system for dairy wastewater treatment based on cheap materials whit high stability. This system is modification of polyester by application of chitosan (CS) solution gel and powdered activated carbon functionalized (PAC-OH).
