Abstract:

This article presents an analytical method for the transient vibration analysis of magneto-electro-viscoelastic (MEVE) nanoplate under hygro-thermal loading based on the nonlocal strain gradient elasticity theory. For the description of the displacement components a two-variable inusoidal shear deformation plate theory is employed. The viscoelastic foundation consists of a Winkler-Pasternak layer. The governing equations ofmotion for the nonlocal strain gradient viscoelastic nanoplate are obtained using Hamilton’s principle and solved implementing an analytical solution. A parametric study is presented to examine the effect of the nonlocal strain gradient parameter, thermo-magneto-electro-mechanical loadings on the vibration characteristics of the MEVE nanoplate. It is found that the natural frequency is quite sensitive due to the change of the mechanical, electrical and magnetic loading.
