Lattice Boltzmann methods (LBM) (or thermal Lattice Boltzmann methods (TLBM)) is a class of computational fluid dynamics methods for fluid and heat transfer simulation. Instead of solving the Navier– Stokes equations, the discrete Boltzmann equation is solved to simulate the flow of a Newtonian fluid with collision models such as Bhatnagar–Gross–Krook (BGK). In the present work, a numerical study of turbulent Nano fluid flow in a T-Shaped section using the Smagorinsky–Lilly SGS model for Large Eddy Simuation (LES). Large eddy simulation is a popular technique for simulating turbulent flows. An implication of Kolmogorov s (1941) theory of self-similarity is that the large eddies of the flow are dependent on the geometry while the smaller scales more universal. Also in this work forced convection heat transfer that caused because of difference temperatures between the inlet fluid and the walls, is investigated. Also Vorticy lines, stream lines, velocity and temperature distribution in the section are showed. Validation the obtained results shown that there is excellent agreement between them
