The increasing use of fossil fuels has irreparable consequences such as global warming, the gap in the ozone layer, changes in rainfall patterns, rising seawater, and destructive effects on the life of plants, animals and humans. Hence, reducing environmental impacts of these resources and the development of new energies are one of the main priorities in energy planning, and all these reasons encourage scientists to find renewable resources. Renewable energies include difference and diverse sources of natural and accessible energy. For example, wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy, geothermal energy and the energy of the Moon s gravity. The advantage of wave and tidal energies is non-pollution through the production of carbon dioxide, joint commercial opportunities, preservation of fuel resources, reduced future fuel risk, and increased diversification of energy supplies. In this descriptive article, in addition to introducing this kind of energy, the energy portion in Iran, introducing the methods of productivity, strategies and solutions will be discussed.
