The biomass energy potential in East Azerbaijan province in the North West of Iran

Iran has huge source of fossil fuel but this kind of energy will run out. In fact, North and North West of Iran jungles, South of Iran farms are proper sources of biomass. The biomass energy includes organic, inorganic wastes and each of them comprised of sub-elements. The organic waste consists of animal sewage, agricultural residues, and woody debris. While, inorganic wastes have important components such as urban sewage and solid waste. The biogas is the third part of biomass energy. This article discusses the utilization of biomass energy in East Azerbaijan province in the North West of Iran in terms of biomass sources and equipment. In this article, there are some inventions about replacement biomass energy instead of fossil fuel. For instance, utilization of animal sewage dried instead of Mazut diesel fuel. Besides, this article mentions to the role of the chemistry and electrical engineering for producing the heat and electricity of biomass.
