A simple and efficient procedure has been developed for the one-pot synthesis of tetrazole derivatives in moderate to good yields starting from substituted benzaldehydes and by using the magnetic CoNiFe2O4@SiO2 nanocatalyst proceeding via non-isolated oxime and nitrile intermediates. The magnetic nanocatalyst was easily separated with the aid of an external magnet. The structures of the desired products were confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy spectrometry
