Cancer immunotherapy by hydatid cyst

Cancer is a globally well-known cause of death in millions of people, however, there is increasing experimental studies prove that Echinococcosis and cancer are in a close association in their mechanism of pathogenesis. Indeed, they have common factors in which they can be used to cure or even prevent the cancer growth. This is a peer-reviewed article of the studies, performed both in vitro and in vivo, on the interactions between antigens of hydatid cyst fluid (HCF), germinal layer and protoscolex of Echinococcus granulosus and cancer cells. There is evidence demonstrating that some parasites, such Echinococcus granulosus interfere with the cancer activities in virtue of their common antigens include mucin type O-glycosylation compositions, TF antigen, Sial Tn antigen and Tn antigen. Besides, they can surprisingly induce apoptosis in tumor cells. Moreover, they demonstrate anticancer activities through stimulating nonspecifically immunization in the body. They, also, increase the average longevity of cancer patients. We can use E.granulosus to prevent, inhibit, and far more important, as an effective cure in cancer patients and increase their survival. Notably, active immunization achieved via parasite infection can arrest the cancer growth inducing apoptosis of cancerous cells which can cure cancer
