Abstract:

An oil platform, offshore platform, or (colloquially) oil rig is a large structure with facilities to drill wells (optionally), to extract and process oil and natural gas, or to temporarily store product until it can be brought to shore for refining and marketing. In many cases, the platform contains facilities to house the workforce as well. This paper describes the BUSCAMOS-Oil monitoring system, which is a robotic platform consisting of an autonomous surface vessel combined with an underwater vehicle. This paper is devoted to this estimation. The paper examines a structure consisting of the superstructure of an oil-gas platform and its gravity type base. It is possible to install earthquake-insulating supports between them. The environmental management study includes a baseline environmental assessment of the site, the project impact on the environment,an environmental impact assessment, mitigation measures, and a monitoring plan. The introduced innovative method in this research uses the first few fundamental frequencies and mode shapes of the structure. The algorithm employs the inverse vibration technique to develop a simple two and three dimensional reference model for monitoring health of the structure. Observer-based monitoring is time-intensive, limited in spatial and temporal coverage, and suffers without clear protocols and when not conducted by trained, independent observers. Two different scenarios were tested and the results were consistent with reality, computationally feasible and presentedinnovations compared to models found in literature. Our findings contribute to the development of the theory on search for solutions in crowd sourcing initiatives, by revealing the characteristics of problem solvers and the types of platforms that maximize the performance of the problem solving process, as the quality of the best solution provided and the time required to elaborate on it, according to specific innovation problems.
