خلاصه مقاله:
In some cases, the use of chemical pesticides is inevitable in agricultural production, and their indiscriminate use causes environmental pollutions. Accumulation of pesticide residues in agricultural products is sometimes so high that even affects the taste of the products and using them causes diseases and irreversible complications, including a variety of cancers. Therefore, scientists argue that a main reason of cancer prevalence is the consumption of unsafe crop products. Pyricularia oryzae is one of the plant pathogens that causes severe damage to the rice crop and reduces its yield every year. One of the new methods for controlling this pathogen is the use of metal nanoparticles such as zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) as an alternative to chemical pesticides. ZnO NPs are very important in terms of low cost, ability to commercialization and safety for the environment. Therefore, in this research, ZnO NPs was synthesized using green method, then they were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-visible spectroscopy, and finally their effects was studied on growth of in vitro culture of rice causing blast fungus. Results showed that zinc oxide nanoparticles has stopped the growth of P. oryzae.
