flake is one of additives that use in composite and coating formulations for improving properties. The aim of this investigation is to determine the effects of glass flake and mixing methods in an epoxy vinyl ester resin using different approaches based on differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).Differential scanning calorimetry was used to probe the changes in glass transition temperature values of the cured composites owing to the presence of glass flake and due to the peroxide hardener. It was also found that a relatively low concentration of glass flake led to an impressive improvement of dynamic mechanical and thermal properties
