Abstract:

The present study aims to assess the relationship between gratitude and DAS, and SWL. A correlation-descriptive research method is applied. A sample of 224 subjects was selected from Payam-e Noor University of Evaz by the convenience sampling technique. The subjects completed DASS-21, SWLS, and GQ-6 . Data analysis was carried out through Pearson correlation coefficient, and path analysis. The results showed that high gratitude exerts indirect effects on depression via stress, stress-anxiety, and especially life satisfaction, in addition to having a direct effect; and that gratitude has an indirect effect on anxiety through stress
