Abstract:
This paper intends to use fuzzy logic concepts to design an optimized system for controlling expendable launch vehicles (ELV). It has been widely tried to design a controller which can be resistant to disturbances such as aerodynamic changes, mass changes and moment of inertia and so it can adopt itself to these conditions very well. The proposed fuzzy logic controller is a Mamdani-type Fuzzy inference system and for further investigation, it has been compared to the classic PID control system and TSK-type Fuzzy inference system. Finally, for verifying its efficiency, the designed fuzzy logic controller has been implemented on other launch vehicles and the sample results were evaluated.
