The aim of this study was to survey the cytotoxic effects of extracts of aerial parts of leutea cupularis on peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Leutea cupularis was collected from road to Emamzade-Davoud,above Rendan(2800 0.5 ,1 mg/ml meter).Dried aerial parts of the plant was extracted by methanol. After preparing extract, 0.1, 0.25, concentrations of extracts was evaluated on the cells for 24 hours. Cytotoxic effects of Leutea cupularis against peripheral blood mononuclear cells was measured by MTT method. The finding suggests that the aerial parts of leutea cupularis has no cytotoxic effects on peripheral blood mononuclear cells. therfore this plant can use as herb without serious side effects.
