خلاصه مقاله:
In order to eliminate the pressure drop problem and mal distribution of the temperature profile along the reactors, packed-bed membrane reactors are proposed as an alternative for Fischere-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) in gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology. Regarding this aim, a packed-bed membrane reactor (MR) is proposed in this study and compared with a packed-bed reactor (PBR). The MR configuration consists of a packed-bed water perm-selective membrane reactor. The performance of MR is compared with PBR in order to investigate the effect of water permeation through hydroxy Sodalite membrane performance. According to the results of this study that has been done in various conditions of temperature (200-500 °C) and pressure (2,5,10,20,30 bar), the best range of temperature for CO conversion and water permeation is about 400 °C , and the permeation and producing of water in FT reaction increases with pressure increasing. In particular, CO conversions for PBR and MR, at the same condition, was achieved around 85% and 92%,respectively.
