Abstract:
Investigation of malic acid ability to partition in polymer/salt aqueous two phase systems has been the main goal of this research. So, three different temperatures 27, 32 and 40ºC were chosen and three different salts with PEG4000 in each temperature were investigated. Two parameters of distribution coefficient and percentage of extraction were calculated for the distribution of malic acid. The results showed that had the highest distribution coefficient and extraction percentage at 27ºC.
