Abstract:
Introduction & Aim:Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the world and is one of the most abundant malignancies among Iranian women. The usual treatments for cancer are largely controlled by it, but they are often unable to completely eliminate it.Material and methods: Olive Extraction: The fruit of the olive tree in the Roodbar area, after being bought, is chopped into finely chopped pomace and thoroughly crushed in the blender. In the next step, a completely uniform solution was obtained using Sonikator. Then the solution was centrifuged and the supernatant, the blue extract of olive fruit, was removed and the residue was discarded. The aqueous extract was placed in a freezer at -80 ° C to freeze. In the next step, using a Freeze Dryer, a powder of aqueous extract was prepared.Cell culture: The MCF7 cell line was purchased from the Pasteur Institute of Iran and cultured in a RPMI1640 culture medium enriched with FBS. And using the MTT method and Real Time PCRResults: Sox2 gene expression increased after applying oloropine and nano-oloperopine treatments in MCF7 cells, with doses of 200 μg / ml nano-oloperopine and 500 μg / ml of oleuropin, the highest expression was observed in the untreated sample. Conclusion: For this reason, it can be concluded that through treatment, cancer cells are removed from the differentiated state and progress to stem cells.
