The decreasing in coal and oil resources and the global warming problem creates an increasing need for sustainable alternative energy resources. Hydropower forms 95% of the worldwide produced sustainable energy and about 20% of the world’s electricity overall. Hydropower plays an important role in the global renewable energy supply [1].
