Abstract:
In this paper, mixed integer programing to reliabilityoptimization problems with random fuzzy variables ispresented. In this problem, component lifetimes areestimated by random fuzzy variables as some limitationsof random lifetime’s assumption for component and themaximization of the system lifetime is used as a majortype of system performance. Then, this reliabilityoptimization problem is formulated as a random fuzzyprograming model, and then solved using mixed integerprogramming and random fuzzy chance-constrainedprogramming based on the idea of possibility theory.Finally, an illustrative numerical example is also solved toclarify the discussed method.
