Todays the WECS or Wind Energy Conversion Systems are developed. WECS are considered as complex systems, including mechanical sub-systems such as the rotor and the system of secondary electrical converter, inverter, rectifier, controller, and are once. Turbines used in wind turbines are divided into two general categories: fixed rate and variable rate. Technical comparison of reactive power compensator types of capacitor banks, SVC and STATCOM in wind power plants is necessary. Therefore, the uses of each of these generators have different impact on the grid voltage fluctuation and it will show. Here two types of compensators include D-SVC and D-STATCOM has been tested for performance. Also Wind Energy Conversion System is a system that uses a constant speed of a squirrel-cage induction generator connected to a network, the modeling has been done. The purpose of this study is to analysis the steady state performance of radial network connected Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECSs). We have used Wind turbine model, SVC model and STATCOM model. The WECS considered is a fixed-speed system that use from a squirrel-cage induction generator. But, since the squirrel-cage induction generator consumes the reactive power, increase in wind turbines will weaken Voltage profiles. Therefore to improve the voltage profile, FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) is used. In this paper, for this purpose, Distribution Static COMpensator (D-STATCOM) and Distribution Static VAR Compensator (D-SVC) are considered as shunt compensator. An exact model for this device is defined to use in load flow analysis. In this paper offer an improved method to solve load flow problem in balanced radial distribution systems. The method is efficient and easy to implement. Based on electric circuit laws, this method is iterative and lets the Calculation of both, voltage (rms) values and phase angles.The method increase Speed convergence. In this paper, the wind turbine and D-FACTS are modeled, and in the analysis of the load flow are considered. Also has been study the effect of modeling of load on the results of power flow solution. In this paper, the use of wind turbines and D-FACTS to reduce losses and improve the voltage profile is visible. Meanwhile, the performance of D-SVC and D-STATCOM are compared.
