However, there is an interrelationship between preventive maintenance and production scheduling but almost in all industrial units they are planned separately; in other words, preventive maintenance is planned in the aim of maximizing the machines availability but the main aim is maximizing customer satisfaction by minimizing total weighted expected completion time. In this paper we suggest practical methods for integrating production scheduling and maintenance planning model. We choose Rafsanjan Arvand Wheel Co. for assaying this model. The results of implementing of model in industrial scale is represented in detail. Aside of coordinating production and maintenance operations, Concluded results shows that this model can be very effective. Calculations shows 42% improvement in total weighted completion time of clients’ orders that has a great impact on customer satisfaction.
