Industrial companies in order to keep their competiveness and making new markets must increase their efficiency and try to prevent their systems to be faulty. In this paper, we propose a new fault monitoring system based on Time Petri Nets. The proposed method is implemented on flexible manufacturing system that will help the FMS to be monitored online and can detect faulty behaviors of the system.
