Abstract:

Some writers create works of literature without bearing in mind special principles of an obvious academic school of literature. The classification of their works proves demanding for the analysis purposes. Post modernism as a new trend at the contemporary time replaced modernism revealing that objectivity, rationalism, and many more features’ meaning faded away and found new meaning and orientations. This paper, on this line, has tried to illustrate Bobin’s maneuver over the setting, titles, themes, scenes, atmosphere, language, and purpose to highlight that his work can be analyzed and understood as a postmodern work. It highlights how the work features and postmodernism characteristics follow a linear correlation. They all indicate the author’s assertion of ideas in the introduced work corresponds with the unclear, absurd, and meaningless existence, as well as chaotic, bare, unstable, and blurred view of human being in the postmodern world. Finally, the paper concludes that the individuals’ understanding of the meaning of life and death at personal level as his great and prominent obsession corresponds with the idiosyncratic features of postmodernism regarding this theme as the major theme of the novel and the great existential view of postmodernism
