Abstract:

This study aimed at investigating the level of self-access, self-direct and autonomy of the Iranian EFL students study English translation and English literature in Velayat university of Iranshahr, Iran. The participants of this study were 27 EFL students majoring in English translation and English literature in Iranshahr Velayat University, Iran. They were freshmen and juniors. In order to gather the required data for this study, a researcher-made questionnaire was administered. It consisted of 25 Likert questions. Forgathering the main study’s data, the questionnaire was administered to the main participants of the study that were 27 EFL students. It was administered in one session and it took 30 minutes. The results showed that the level of self-access, self-direct and autonomy of EFL students was moderate.
